Pentadecapeptide BPC 157 enhances the growth hormone receptor expression in tendon fibroblasts

Chang CH, Tsai WC, Hsu YH, et al. Molecules 2014;19:19066-19077.

What it found

BPC-157 increased the amount of growth hormone receptor in rat tendon cells. When growth hormone was then added, treated cells multiplied more and showed more JAK2 signalling.

Limitations

Cells in a dish only. It does not show that BPC-157 changes growth hormone signalling in a living animal or person.
