What it found
All treatments increased body weight and bone mineral content measured by DXA. The extra mineral came from larger bones; bone density per volume did not change, and bone mineral relative to body weight was unchanged.
Limitations
Young adult female rats; the abstract does not give the vehicle group size. Bigger bones are not the same as stronger or denser bones.
