Wang X, Liu L, Qi L, et al. Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine 2021;25:8222-8228.
What it found
54 people in the single-dose part and 30 in the multiple-dose part. Adverse events were mild to moderate, with no dose-limiting toxicity or serious events, and no obvious build-up with daily dosing.
Limitations
Full recombinant protein, not the TB-500 fragment. Healthy volunteers only, short follow-up. Three authors were employees of the sponsor.
