Stimulation of collagen synthesis in fibroblast cultures by the tripeptide-copper complex glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine-Cu2+
Maquart FX, Pickart L, Laurent M, et al. FEBS Letters 1988;238:343-346.
What it found
GHK-Cu increased collagen production by fibroblasts, starting at very low concentrations, without changing the number of cells. The authors note that the GHK sequence occurs inside type I collagen.
