Regenerative and Protective Actions of the GHK-Cu Peptide in the Light of the New Gene Data
Pickart L, Margolina A. International Journal of Molecular Sciences 2018;19:1987.
What it found
Summarises reported effects of GHK on skin, lung, bone, liver and stomach tissue repair and on many genes, and argues that its gene effects may explain its wide range of reported actions.
Limitations
Narrative review, not systematic, written by the scientist who first described GHK. Both authors list a company, Skin Biology, as their affiliation; they declared no conflict of interest. Much of the evidence it covers is from cells and animals.
