What it found
LH and FSH rose in men at low doses. In women in the follicular phase of the cycle, none of the routes or doses changed LH or FSH. In women in the preovulatory phase, a 10 nmol/kg intravenous dose raised both.
Limitations
Only 4 to 5 people per group. Single doses or short infusions. Design details beyond the abstract not checked.
